Pizza Night

Fridays are our normal pizza nights. I’ve been making my own dough for the crust and it’s been getting better everytime.

Base: Homemade pesto

Toppings: 2 Quorn Turk’y patties, 2 small eggplant sliced, a few crimini mushrooms, mozzarella cheese

It was sooo delicious, I ate way too much of it last night!

  1. That looks so delicious! What exactly are Quorn Turk’y patties though? I can’t seem to find them in the photo, either. Unless they are those chunks?

What do they taste like too? I might try to make this sometime!

The Quorn Turk’y patties are the chicken looking cubes. They’re a type of mock meat and I cooked them and cut them up to add to the pizza.

I like the stuff that the Quorn brand makes. They have “chicken” cutlets, roasts, the turk’y patties and a few other kinds. They’re not vegan because they have egg whites, but they use a type of fungus to make their mock meats instead of soy which is why I’ve been trying to use them more lately. I definitely recommend them!
