Vegan Alfredo

I made this alfredo the other day for dinner. I got the recipe from this blog and tried it out once before. This time I added a few different ingredients to the recipe to spice it up some. I have made other types of vegan alfredo before, but this one is the best so far, even though it could be considered “ghetto”!

Vegan Alfredo
2-3 tsp flour
3 tsp margarine
1/2 tsp minced garlic or garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 cups soy milk (or more)
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp minced olives (optional)
1/2 tsp basil (optional)
1/2 tsp oregano (optional)

Start the noodles cooking. Add flour to hot skillet and warm it until it becomes lightly browned. Add margarine and mix with flour. Add soy milk gradually while whisking to get clumps out and get a good consistency and spice and optional ingredients to taste. Once the noodles are cooked and drained add sauce and stir until the Alfredo is mixed though. Makes 2 large servings.
