I got a comission to do a dress the other day. It’s based off of a character from the game “Touch Detective”. Here’s a picture of the dress. It’s the blue and white one on the right.
Last night I started draping the pattern, so I thought I’d post some pictures of how it’s going along. I am just in the beginning stages of the draping, but I’m almost done with the blouse part. I just have to do the sleeves.

I still have a ways to go, but this is a nice start. I think it’s looking pretty good thus far though.
Definitely a good start! What sort of fabric are you going to use?
I’m probably going to use some cotton shirting.

How do you drape with an adjustable, isn’t it hard to mark your center front with the space in the middle?
